Senior News Makes New Friends
Mar 5, 2012, noon
Senior News 50 and Better staffers want to know their readers, and last month presented the perfect opportunity to do so. Publisher Dennis Simonini and Associate Publisher Dawn Williams attended a reception held at the DeKalb Senior Center in honor of retiring Director of Senior Services Mary Overbey. One particularly friendly group of ladies shared their thoughts on the publication, which debuted in the area last fall. They promised to pass it on to friends and to share their feedback on each issue with us. In the photo above, Simonini poses with some of our new friends (from left): Pearl Belluzzi, Betty Snyder (standing), Joann Irving, Carol Foster, and Judy Sallberg.
We'll be attending dozens of senior expos, health fairs and other community events throughout the year, and look forward to meeting more of our readers. If you happen to see our booth, please stop by to say hello. We look forward to meeting you!
