Active Senior Expo, an event dedicated to inform, educate and entertain seniors, has announced it will present six events in 2012. The schedule features a mix of new locations and event venues.

Following is the schedule:

• March 1, Eola Community Center, Aurora

• March 28, Stratford Square Mall, Bloomingdale

• May 9, Chicago Gaelic Park, Oak Forest

• June 20, White Eagle Banquets, Niles

• Oct. 3, Lake County Expo, Grayslake

• Nov. 7, Prairie Events Center, St. Charles

Each event will feature hundreds of products and services for seniors. Offerings include health care, retirement communities, assisted living, financial, legal, insurance, estate planning, home care, travel, consumer products, government programs and more. Special attractions include free seminars, free health screenings, live entertainment and free prize drawings.

The presenting sponsor of Active Senior Expo is Chicagoland Senior News 50 and Better. Publisher Dennis Simonini and Associate Publisher Dawn Williams will be available to talk with readers and take entries for a special drawing.
